Vilma Itälinna

Vilma Itälinna is a rising Finnish heptathlete from Tampere, representing Tampereen Pyrintö. After a serious achilles-tendon injury, she made an impressive comeback in 2025, scoring a personal-best 5 738 points at Multistars in Italy, and winning the Finnish national heptathlon title (Kalevan Kisat). With solid performances in hurdles, long jump, and sprints, Vilma is a versatile multi-eventer with the ambition and resilience to climb among Europe’s best. Her goal is to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
