Matti Mattsson

Matti Mattsson is one of Finland’s top swimmers and an inspiring role model. Four-time Olympian and Tokyo 2021 bronze medalist in the 200m breaststroke, he is now aiming for his fifth Olympic Games. Matti is a father of three, passionate about supporting children’s and youth well-being and helping them stay active. Despite living with celiac disease and alopecia, he has stayed at the highest level of world sport for years, showing resilience, determination, and heart. Outside the pool, Matti enjoys family time and hands-on projects. He’s known to be a real handyman.
