Heikki Kovalainen

Heikki Kovalainen is a celebrated Finnish motorsport driver and former Formula 1 competitor (2007–2013) with teams such as McLaren, Renault, and Team Lotus / Caterham. After F1, he achieved success in Japan, becoming the 2016 Super GT champion, and later transitioned into rallying. From 2022 to 2025, he became a three-time champion in the Japan Rally Championship and has also competed in the World Rally Championship (WRC), driving cars like the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. His journey shows a rare versatility: from karting as a youth, through single-seaters and the spotlight of Formula 1, to GT racing and now rally, proving his adaptability and enduring passion for motorsport.
